Judge or bless

Today I am studying Matthew 7:1-6

(Do not judge or you too will be judged, for in the same way as you judge, you will be judged - v1)

Just give me a moment, I am trying to see the keyboard...
I bow my head in shame. I am sure that I am not alone.
This is a powerful Scripture and Jesus is not holding back. He is telling it like it is and the truth does hurt. Talk about a wake-up call.
How many times a day do we judge others, weather it be by something, someone told you or a person's actions. People make their own judgement about a person, depending on if the have a good relationship with them or bad one. We tend to go along believing what they said or we heard, without knowing that person ourselves.
It's all around us every day, people are judged on how they look, the clothes they wear, the job they do, where they live, how they live, how much money they have or haven't, what car they drive, it's never ending.  It is so easy for people to make hurtful comments about someone, the consequences can be destructive. But Jesus is giving us a warning... to be careful. "For in the same way as you judge, you will be judged".
Being judgmental and critical about others is not God's way.
Let's try and be aware of what we say about or speak to people. Will it make them happy?, cheer up their day? give them confidence?, will it be encouraging and inspiring for them to do better for themselves?
Let our actions speak louder than our words and fill people's hearts with joy,
God is about love and blessings.

The short film below, speaks for itself.

Thank you for sharing this short film.
