Prayer

Today I am studying Matthew 6:5-14

('Hallowed' be your name!)
When thinking about this verse, I can recall countless times I have 'repeated it off by heart'. But to be truthful... what does it mean?  Hallowed means to respect and honor greatly.
To make his name, the most valuable, in the hearts and minds of all people. Its not just recognition of his name, its a prayer, a plea to our Almighty God that we will make his name Holy throughout the world.
He is the Alpha and Omega, Lord of all lords, King of kings, the great I AM, Bread of life, Everlasting Father, our healer, our Maker, our Provider, our Comforter, Shepard, Prince of peace, Jehovah, God of mercy, Holy One, Light of the world, Immanuel, our Rock, our Redeemer, Saviour, the Name above all names and much, much more. I am sure you could add to the list.
Praise the Lord.

God bless x
