Today I am studying Matthew 5:13-16
Salt has many uses but the most common is usually for preserving food or used for seasoning. To enhance the flavor.
So in this Scripture, is Jesus asking us to go out in His name and act as a preservative, to preserve the world, help rid it of all the pain and suffering that is happening.. To enhance peoples lives and give them hope? It fills my heart with joy to know that Jesus love us so much and is with us always.
Jesus says, "we are the light of the world".
We could be a beacon of light for Him, helping people, spreading His word and sharing His love. Reassuring our brother and sisters that they are not alone and bring peace into their hearts...
